Scotland10th June — 24th June 2011In July I will be taking a tour to Scotland to see some of northern Europe’s loveliest gardens. Scotland has a short summer but its fertile soil, humid climate and long hours of summer daylight have produced some of the most beautifully planted gardens I have ever seen.
High spots of our tour will be Dunvegan Garden, Isle of Skye, Cawdor Castle and gardens near Inverness and the wonderful garden created by three generations of the Cox family, well known plant hunters and explorers, at Glendoick in Perthshire.
The itinerary is still being finalised by Renaissance Tours. Estimated dates are 25th June to 9th July (15 days/14 nights) starting in Glasgow and ending in Edinburgh. |
